J•R•CASA
As a front-end developer, I bring the visual and interactive parts of websites to life. I collaborate closely with UI/UX designers and back-end developers to turn mockups and functional requirements into polished, user-facing experiences in the browser.
I use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to shape layout, styling, and behavior, with a strong focus on performance, responsiveness, and usability across devices and screen sizes.
A selection of recent projects I've contributed to — collaborating with designers, coordinating with back-end developers, and helping deliver experiences that are both polished and built to last.

Strange new worlds, eldritch creatures, the vehicles of tomorrow...
Here you can see what I concoct when I'm not knee-deep in code. A lifetime of sci-fi fandom, general geekery, and the occasional trip to a Comic-Con continue to inspire me to create visions of what is and what could be.
These are mostly digital paintings created with Photoshop, Procreate, or traditional oils and acrylics.

Greetings, and welcome to my little corner of the web. I'm Jim Richard Casa, a front-end developer and illustrator who builds thoughtful, user-focused interfaces... and draws some weird stuff.
With a BFA in Graphic Design and nearly two decades of experience, I specialize in crafting highly accessible, scalable digital experiences using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern WordPress architecture. Beyond the IDE, I love bringing new worlds to life through traditional and digital art. As a lifelong fan of science fiction and fantasy, my interests push me to think outside the box—and sometimes out of this world—when approaching both code and design.
